Healthy Pain Perdu Apple – Coconut

On September 2020, I am taking on the challenge of offering you a new recipe every day based on a seasonal vegetable or fruit.

Today is about apple!

French toast for breakfast, this is undoubtedly a very good idea on weekends! Thy was for me the opportunity to test the apple-coconut combination… Flavours that work perfectly well together.

When should you try these Healthy Pain Perdu Apple – Coconut

Even though this recipe can be made in a short time, but it’s a probably easier to keep this recipe for the weekend. Indeed, French toast is eaten directly after the cooking time: it is not possible to prepare it in advance.

For this apple-coconut French toast I have chosen wholemeal bread, and all the elements that give us the coconut flavor: coconut oil, coconut milk, grated coconut and coconut sugar.

And see you tomorrow for new inspirations!
Enjoy,
Caroline
