On September 2020, I am taking on the challenge of offering you a new recipe every day based on a seasonal vegetable or fruit. Today I’m sharing a dessert recipe: a Rustic Mirabelle Plum & Almond Tart.
So today is about mirabelle plums!
Yes, it is now time for a nice seasonal fruit tart. But not just any tart, the Mirabelle Plum & Almond Tart is the most delicious to try in September.
Why rustic? To do whatever you wan’t with the look of your pie!
Then regarding the flavors, I’d say that the almonds are the best to try with mirabelle plum. The result is so smooth and tasteful.
When should you taste this rustic Mirabelle Plum & Almond Tart?
This Mirabelle plum tart is of course perfect for dessert, but I also recommend it for breakfast with yoghurt for instance. The fact that it is fruity, low in sugar and made with nuts makes it an ideal morning meal.
Enjoy,
Caroline
