A Pomegranate Apple Banana Smoothie Bowl for a delicious fruity shot in the morning!
I committed in September to offer an inspiration a day based on one seasonal fruit or vegetable. It was particularly challenging for my creativity. Especially as I also wanted to suggest some recipes with fruit that I am not used to cook.
The pomegranate is one of them!
After some research on pomegranates, I read that, in addition to being a very colorful and appetizing fruit, it is a great source of antioxidants as well. As for the taste, its tangy side goes perfectly with many recipes.
In which recipes I’ll recommend to use pomegranates?
- Eggplant dip or hummus (my hummus recipes here).
- Sweet or savory salads
- A sweet and sour dish
- But also in a nice cream or a smoothie, an option that I share below today.
When to try this Pomegranate Apple Banana Smoothie Bowl
A smoothie is always a good idea for breakfast or brunch!

1 banana ∞ Simply peel and cut the fruit and mix it all together. * If you prefer to serve this smoothie as a drink to go with a brunch for instance, I'll suggest to replace the yoghurt with the same amount of vegetable milk.
