Bruschetta Figs Honey and Goat cheese Walnuts Cream
Voilà, the title says it all: a delicious Bruschetta caramelized Figs with Honey, and fresh Goat cheese cream with Walnuts.
As you now know, on September 2020, I am taking on the challenge of offering you a new recipe every day based on a seasonal vegetable or fruit.
When the fig season comes, I am always rushing to buy some goat cheese… Beyond the tastes, I also like to vary the textures:
- A crunchy toast provided by the Parisian Bakery Terroirs d’Avenir
- A smooth cream of goat’s cheese with walnuts
- Some caramelized figs with honey
So let’s go straight to the point and let me tell you more about the recipe below…

Honey: 1 tbsp.
Walnut kernels: 6Instructions
∞ Slice the bread
∞ Gently wash the figs, dry them and cut them into quarters (in 4 or 8 according to preference).
∞ Roughly crush the nuts.
∞ Beat with a fork in a bowl: the fresh goat, the herbs, 1 tbsp. of olive oil and some walnuts.
∞ Set aside in a cool place.
∞ In a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil, place the cut figs at a medium temperature.
∞ Add a tbsp. of honey.
∞ Lower the temperature and gently caramelise each side of the figs. Remove from the heat before it reduces them too much to a compote and set aside.
∞ When the cooking comes to the end, brown the toasts in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil on top. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes.
∞ For the dressing: simply spread the bread with goat's cheese mousse, arrange a few figs and finish with a few walnuts! You can count about 2 pieces of figs and 2 walnut kernels on each slice of bread.
